Students are working hard on their science projects and I have enjoyed reading about their experiments. I still have not seen any of the planning from several students. Here is the reminder of the interim due dates:
Friday, February 3: Students needed to have completed and turned in their problem, research, and hypothesis.
Wednesday, February 8: Students needed to have completed and turned in their variables, procedures (steps), and material list.
Each of these are worth a grade in the gradebook. Please make sure your students bring in their completed sections as soon as possible to receive a grade. If you have any questions or if your child needs school support, please let me know as soon as possible.
PTO BINGO Night
Here is a message from our wonderful PTO Classroom Rep, Mrs. Hern:
Dear Mrs. Brenner Families,
Just a reminder to send in those donations for our SPORTS basket! I am writing to request donations of items related to our theme. If you prefer, you may send in a monetary donation, and I will be happy to purchase items for the basket for you. (Please send in all monetary donations in a sealed envelope addressed to Mari Hern/Bingo Night, and be sure to include your name and a contact number or e-mail so I may let you know your donation was received.)
You may start sending in basket donations anytime, but I am asking that you please send them in by February 26. This will allow me enough time to get a beautiful basket put together and turned in before Bingo Night. Again, the money raised helps to improve the education of our biggest assets - our children!
I welcome your suggestions for items to purchase to make our basket the best it can be!
